hi all i am new and i just got my 1997 mx-6. i fell in love with it during the test drive.

i want to beef it up.i have done a lot off reseach about the car and the mods that i can find, and i would love to know any secrets you all might know.

my car is an LS 24 valve v6 5 speed and the first thing i have been considering after months of looking is an engine swap for a kl-ze jap import motor its a 200 hp stock engine.

I know there is a K8 that was factory supercharged, came in the 25th (i think it's the 25th) aniv. Millenia. Actually, i'm not even sure it made it to the USA, it did make it to Canada though, i know that for sure. Sorry i don't know what the numbers are the SC engine though.

It may be possible to hybrid the KLZE with the SC K8 for a nice little beast. Assuming it's worthwhile, power gain wise.

i found a k8 but it was only 160 horses but it was a 1.6 valve. that was the best i could do when i was looking for the engine.

been talking to friends if i rebuilt mine and bored it like 30 or 40 over they say i could get more then 200 horse from mine and mabe cheaper?

my body kit is on the way and in about 3 or more weeks it will be here and put and i will post pics of my car i aleady have the wing..
