Mods: -04/01 Rebuilt Engine -Pacesetter Headers w/hi-flo cat -K&N Intake -MatchPort TB -Ported Dynamic Chamber -Ported Intake Manifold -Double Throttle Plates removed (TB) -Slight Weight Reductions -"The best" factory spark plugs -BF Goodrich Touring tires -Working 6-ports and VDI! -Running on Pre-mix baby! -AutoMeter temp guage (since the stock one doesnt know the dfference from 160-249*F :eek: ) -Pulsation Damper JB welded shut (EVERYONE do something about your PD, check it replace it WHATEVER, just DO IT. I'd hate to see another RX-7 burn to the ground) Running SCCA-LOL class CSP, MAC Class CSP, and AARRF usually found under car # 727

hey all i'm also known as elnegrocivico on hv, and on miata.net i'm known as tx_rainsux_99, and well here i am txrainsux99... why? i dunno.... anyways: car: 99 miata ls mods: bomex front nose, ground control c/o, kyb adj shocks, hks exhaust, kosei rims 17x7.5(f) 17x8.5(r)... coming soon: sway's and some sort of sport seats.... class: novice - hey i've only participated in 1 ax so far and 1 de....

Other Current Ride: '92 Escort GT 1.8L DOHC Mazda engine. No mods yet.

SGT, we'll let the LX slide since the GT is Mazda powered BTW, i hope that sub box is removable.....looks heavy.

You betcha its removeable! I'm actually in the process of making a cute little 8" ported bandpass box to fit in the rear corner of the wagon, and already have the amp mounted for the most part in the left rear corner. They'll be hard-mounted, so I won't have to take them out when I race. Man, it was so different driving a car with nothing in it compared to when I drive it every day... But oh man, is it fun, and I am hooked. Probably will do the local club thing again this year, then maybe move on to real SCCA stuff the following.
I'd have more done on the GT, but I only got it in December. Cool stuff on the way for it, though!
