Hi Jeff! I guess it was only a matter of time before you turned up on this board!

Solo 1 in Quebec involves a partial warmup and cooldown lap as well as a partial cooldown lap with 4 timed laps. The laps are shorter than at Ontario tracks, so the total time is similar. Also, we take the best 4-laps run of the day for your final time, not your best single lap. We have invited the Ontario guys to come out and try two of our tracks in a double event on June 28-29th 2003. Join us there!

Hi Vince,

I haven't put my schedule together yet but the plan is all of the Ontario Solo 1, the MCO road race at Shannonville and maybe a few other events. Potential other events include a few Quebec Solo 1, BMW driving schools at Mosport and/or Tremblant, the COMSCC time trial at Mosport and a few lapping days. It all depends on how quickly I burn through the budget.

I'm more of a SoloII guy, but still go to time trial events. The racing budget only allows for a few Solo I events per year (RX-7 parts is expensive!), so I'm still a newbie, by all definitions.
